Essien Efana-Okon is a versatile HR professional with 16 years of experience in design and implementation of human resources management systems (HRMS), information systems management, business process analysis, researching, and business assurance. He has managed several human resources and information systems projects in Nigeria and Paris.
Essien started his career as a banker with Platinum Bank Ltd, as a pioneer staff. In 2001 he joined PricewaterHouseCoopers Nigeria practice as an assurance associate, and later joined the human capital solutions practice. In 2003 he joined the Access Bank Plc recruitment team for a 5 month stint and later joined Total, where he coordinated the implementation of the PeopleSoft HRMS and introduction of new HR systems and processes, policies and procedures. He has since held several positions in Total, and is now in charge of the Corporate Learning and Development function. Essien is proficient in the start up and establishment of new functions and departments in line with organisational strategies.
Essien holds an M.Sc. from Warwick Business School and an undergraduate degree in Geology from the University of Ibadan. He is currently completing a PhD in International Business Management from the International School of Management, Paris. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development, UK (CIPD), a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, Nigeria (CIPM), and the Institute of Training & development, Nigeria (NITD).
An academic enthusiast and entrepreneur, Essien is a learning facilitator in HR metrics and analytics, and competency management with the CIPM, and he actively participates in various HR and education conferences as speaker, and he has authored some published works. Flo Eneji-Udosen is an entrepreneur with strong business and commercial acumen. The second of four children, she started her education in Nigeria obtaining her first degree as a microbiologist after which she proceeded to the UK to obtain a master’s degree in Business Management.
She has spent the last decade working across a couple of industries from construction, to media, technology, sports and most recently agriculture. The most important aspect for success is believe and passion for whatever you do, however completive advantage as a business lies in the talent you have. As a result, Flo has spent most of her career as a HR Director, supporting global and multi national companies with their talent and Organisational development agenda.
With a passion for supporting startups and small businesses, Flo is actively involved with various business organisations where she advises on strategy and talent management.
